Danica Rueb began her tenure at Saint Ambrose School as a kindergarten aide in the fall of 2018. Prior to coming to Saint Ambrose, she held a variety of jobs in client services, with the longest stint at a digital advertising agency in St. Paul. When her position was eliminated, she realized she no longer wanted to pursue this career and started looking for a new option.

Danica always loved children and wanted to be a music teacher after high school. She felt a call on her heart to serve the catholic church and with a short search of the Archdiocese website, she found the kindergarten aide position at Saint Ambrose, it was then she knew exactly what God wanted her to pursue and began looking into teacher preparation programs.

Danica has a bachelor of mass communication from Bemidji State University and is projected to complete her master’s in teaching at Saint Mary’s University in the summer of 2024. Danica believes in meeting every child where they are and setting high expectations to help them meet their full potential. She believes each student is a gift from God and relishes the opportunity to help them grow in their faith. She finds that guiding children to strengthen their faith in God helps her to strengthen her own.

Danica is happy to be teaching at Saint Ambrose and looks forward to many more years to come.
